Inspired by the enduring utility of fruit crates and Euroboxes, the Metal Crate by air-condition.ing is storage distilled to its essentials. Folded from raw, uncoated aluminium, each piece is left un-foiled to reveal the machining lines - traces of its making and a preview of how it will age. Aluminium scratches, dents, and oxidises, but it never quits; its beauty grows with wear.
